The influence of Morphology, Conditions of Production and External Effects on Nanoparticles’ (in Terms of Iron) Dielectric Properties

It was shown that the complex research of iron nanoparticles properties by different methods, supplemented each other, permit to receive the data about the interior sizes of nanoparticles, a number of physical properties of particles, their dependence on frequency and changes produced by various influences. It was found that the conductivity of nanoparticles changed under the square dependence σ = σo2.

Different Types of Surface Enhancement Raman Scattering Platforms and their Applications

In this work high sensitive analytical technique surface enhancement Raman scattering (SERS) is considered. The detection of one molecule of substance in solution is possible by this technique. And SERS is noninvasive analytical equipment and for research of bioobjects can be combined with other techniques such as microfluidics or laser tweezers.

Influence of the Hydrogen Bond on the IR-spectrum and Structure of Molecular Complex of Diamond Nanoparticles and DNA Bases

Background and Objectives: Using molecular modeling by the density functional theory method we analyze a hydrogen bonds formation and their influence on IR-spectrum and structure of molecular complex which is formed as the interaction of complementary couple of DNA nucleobases adenine and timin and nanodiamonds surrounded with carboxylic groups. As an example of nanodiamonds adamantine has been used. Intermolecular forces and structure of hydrogen bonds are investigated.

Dynamics of Morphological and Biochemical Changes in Laboratory Animals with Transplanted Kidney Cancer after Intravenous Injection of Gold Nanoshells

The effect of intravenously injected nanoshells on white outbred male rats with transplanted tumor of kidney cancer was studied. The blood biochemical parameters and morphological changes in the rat internal organs were examined during 24 h after nanoparticle injection. The most pronounced changes were observed 45 min – 2 h after nanoparticle injection and were reversible.

Contrasting in Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging of Liver by Nanoparticles

Possibility of improvement of inner liver structure visualization in optical coherent tomograms by increasing their contrast due to administration of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in various suspensions and at various methods of delivering of the particles into the tissue is considered. Values of contrast of inner liver structures in vitro are obtained.

Morphological Changes in the Internal Organs of Laboratory Animals under a Single Administration of Fe Nanoparticles

The cytotoxic effect of iron nanoparticles of size of 70 nm was studied in an experiment with single intramuscular and oral administration in albino mice and rats. Morphological changes were assessed in the internal organs, brain and the injection site. Studies had shown that intramuscular changes are more pronounced than when nanoparticles were administered orally and were shown in signs of cell damage while after the oral administration the blood flow changes in vessels were noted.

Optical Clearing as Method to Increase the Depth of Nanoparticles Detection in the Skin with OCT-Visualization

Background and Objectives: Nanoparticles of titanium dioxide are now widely used both for the creation of sunscreen filters, and as carriers of drugs. One of the ways of transepidermal delivery of these nanoparticles to the dermis of the skin is their penetration into the hair follicles. However, optical control of the filling of follicles with nanoparticles is rather difficult due to strong light scattering in the skin.
