Creating and Fluorescence of the Multilayer Langmuir – Blodgett Films of CdSe/CdS/ZnS Quantum Dots

Multilayered structures composed by Langmuir – Blodgett films of CdSe/CdS/ZnS quantum dots functionalized by oleic acid and fluorescent at 525 and 631 nm were prepared and studied by fluorescent spectroscopy. It was shown that fluorescent spectra of the nanosized multilayered film consisting of different QD layers have complex character and can be rearranged with relative positions of QD layer and laser beam that open possibility to operate the fluorescent intensity of every QD layer.

Investigation of Multilayers Structures Based on the Langmuir–Blodgett Films of CdSe/ZnS Quantum Dots

This article presents the results of a study QD Langmuir monolayers on the water subphase and LB films transferred onto a solid surface. The monolayers of CdSe/CdS/ZnS QD stabilized by oleic acid without of supplements of amphiphilic matrix, was created. The monolayers was transfered on the solid substrate, what was proved by the AFM and the fluorescence spectroscopy methods. The fluorescence spectra of the LB films with variable numbers of layers was captured.

Absorption as an Indication of Vacuum e+–e– Pair Creation in a Strong Nonstationary Electric Field

We discuss the high frequency conductivity and absorption coefficient of an electron – positron plasma (EPP) created from the vacuum in a strong nonstationary electric field (nonstationary Schwinger mechanism). It is shown that the basic contribution here is due to vacuum polarization effects. For subcritical linearly polarised fields, we obtain the general expression for the induced conductivity and the absorption coefficient, which is investigated in a wide range of frequencies from the optical to the γ-ray region.
